 ANNOUNCEMENT Since the acquisition of Probus Creative Housewares by Fackelmann GmbH, the German based international housewares manufacturer, the Probus brand has gone from strength to strength. With a turnover in excess of £250m, The Fackelmann Group has over 20 offices and factories worldwide and employs over 2000 people. Through its global network, Fackelmann supplies virtually all of the major housewares retailers in Europe – including Wal-Mart, Tesco, Sainsbury, Lakeland, Carrefour, Metro, Real, Intermarche, Spar and Casino. This additional resource and investment has allowed Probus to expand both in the UK and abroad. Access to the extensive range of Fackelmann products and services has allowed us to offer our customers far greater choice, in terms of range, price and brand options.
